Abstract

 

The study of Form and Norm which express in the practice of Sampajañña Bubba, in Satipaṭṭhana Sutta, is of 2 objectives :- to study Sapajañña Bubba in Kayanupassanā  Satiphaṭṭhana Sutta and form and Norm.  To practices the Sampajañña Bubba by studying the data from the Buddhist scriptures :-Tipitaka, Atthakatha, Tika, and in cluding the connected document.  All these documents are brought to be composed, checked, by the expert.

From the study, it is found that the principles in Sampajañña Bubba, in Satipaṭṭhana Sutta are the principles of Vipassanā Bhāvanā which is the practice in Mindfulness in every actions such as to walk out and to work in, to see , to look at to spread out, to turn in, to wear, to eat, to drink, to excrete the excrement and the uring, to walk etc.  These actions are the fixing of the practices to cause to arise the Sampajañña, to know the actions in realistic states.

The state of Form in Buddhism means the state which is of breaking and extinguishing when the state of form is attacked with the Vinodhipaccaya and cannot know any temperament.  In 5 Aggregates, the Form State means Body Aggregate.  The Norm State means the state of mind which leads to the temperament.  It can know the temperament.  The 5 aggregates.  Vedanā, Sanyā, Sanghara, and Vinnara are the Norm.

The practice of Vipassanā Bhavanā according to Sampajañña bubba.  In the beginning the practice Sati – Sampajañña to know the activities according the real state.  When the practices have mindfulness to fix the mindfulness in every moment and in every action.  The mindfulness in considering the Form and the Norm that appear clearly in Vipassanā which will cause the practisers to see the arising state of Rūpa and Nāma.  The practice has wisdom thus to see that the Form and the Norm are according to Truth.  Under the power the three Characteristics which show that ever thing is of Anicca,  Dhukha and Anatta and is of arising, standing and extinguishing.

The practisercan see the benefit and the disadvantage of the movement in the different activities.  When the practiser is of the wisdom to consider in the way, he will have the pure mind at every step up to attaining the path the Fruit and Nibbān at the ends.

In conclusion, the bodily appearing manners such as the bending manner are and spreading manner etc.  are classified as the forms.  The state of know such manners are called ‘The Norms’.  Both the form and Norm are under the power of the Three Characteristics the impermanence the suffering and the soullessness.
